WIPocalypse 2017-Jan progress

Hello Mad Stitchers!!

Welcome to the blog of Mad Stitcher Designs. I thought I would start off with a post for WIPocalypse 2017. This is a SAL (stitch-a-long) event that focuses on working on your wips and unfinished projects, of which I have many. This is hosted by a woman named Melissa and you can find the info here if you want to join. http://measi.net/measiblog/wipocalypse_main/2017-wipocalypse-info-page/

While I do cross stitch a few different designers my focus will be on my own designs so I can showcase to you how they stitch out.

My current wip update for Jan is for Christmas Eve Ride. I am doing this for a friend. I started this on Jan 1. I admit I am not as far along as I would like to be. I will be picking it up again on Saturday or Sunday and working on it for at least 10 days straight. I am still figuring out the best rotation for my many projects.

2nd pic) this is my progress so far. I start in the top left corner.

There are also questions that are asked each month. January's was What other SALs are you a part of?

There are a few within the various facebook groups I am in. I have monthly SAL's for almost every group. One group has a "Darktober" SAL where every 13th of the month we stitch on a dark/macabre/horror piece. I will feature that piece in my next WIPocalypse update for Feb.
